Great video by Coach Vitello. I never played for him because I was a hockey player, and proud to say I still am. I have coached youth hockey for 16 years now and Coach Vitello is so right about the guys that are memorable. It\'s easy to remember the stars but the guys that really stick with you are the guys that work their tail off in practice. The guys who maybe don\'t play a lot but win a big face-off at the end of a game or block a shot. The guys that jump off the bench first when the team scores a big goal. Those guys are the ones that stick with you and make all the time and effort worthwhile. I wish Coach Vitello had been a hockey coach too!!

It has been a long time since I played at De Smet, a lot of great memories. Now my nephew plays on the team and wears my old number, great to see a winning program. I have made a donation in honor of my old coach Denny Cerneka and on behalf of my nephew, Tim Shearn, #63
